Overview / About the Scholarship
Leeds Beckett University (LBU) is deeply committed to building a diverse global classroom, and the International Student Scholarship is a cornerstone of this mission. Specifically designed to assist students from key international markets, such as Bangladesh, this award significantly reduces the initial cost of entry into higher education in the United Kingdom. Unlike competitive awards that depend on limited quotas, this is an automatic entitlement for any student meeting the residency and self-funding criteria. It is intended to help Bangladeshi students bridge the gap between their academic ambitions and the financial realities of international study.
By providing a substantial £3,000 reduction, LBU ensures that its world-class facilities and professional-focused curriculum remain accessible. The scholarship is applied directly to the tuition fee invoice, which also helps reduce the 50% deposit required for the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). This streamlined financial support allows students to focus more on their academic preparation and less on complex funding applications.
