Overview / About the Scholarship
The University of Lincoln International Alumni Scholarship is designed to recognize and reward our global Lincoln family from Nigeria. The University deeply values the contributions of its Nigerian graduates and aims to make lifelong learning more accessible by reducing the financial barriers for those returning for advanced postgraduate study. This award is not just a financial discount; it is an investment in the global network of Lincoln graduates. For Nigerian students who have already completed an undergraduate degree or an exchange program at Lincoln, this scholarship provides a substantial £2,000 reduction in tuition.
It reflects the university's commitment to supporting its alumni as they specialize further in their chosen fields, whether they transition directly from undergraduate study or return after gaining professional experience in Nigeria. The scholarship is automatically applied to tuition fees, simplifying the administrative process and allowing students to focus on their research and career development. For many Nigerian professionals, this reduction acts as a key facilitator for obtaining a UK Master’s degree in a familiar, world-class environment. By staying within the Lincoln ecosystem, alumni benefit from a supportive community that already understands their potential, helping them to become the next generation of global leaders.
