Undergraduate Entry Requirements
General Academic Requirements
- A-Levels: Typically range from AAA to ABB depending on the course.
- International Baccalaureate (IB): Typically requires a score of 32-35 points overall.
- BTEC: Distinction/Merit profiles (e.g., DDD to DDM) in relevant Extended Diplomas.
Country-Specific Requirements (Direct Entry)
Bangladesh: Students with a Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) are generally required to complete a Foundation Year first. Direct entry may be considered for those with exceptionally high A-Level or IB scores.
Nigeria: Direct entry is possible for students who have completed one year of a Bachelor's degree at a recognized Nigerian university with good grades. Otherwise, a Foundation Year is required after the WASSC/WAEC.
Postgraduate Entry Requirements
Master's Degrees (Taught)
UK Equivalent: Most courses require a 2:1 or a "high" 2:2 (usually 57%+) honors degree.
- Bangladesh: A 4-year Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55%–60% or a GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Nigeria: A Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale (Upper Second Class) or 2.4 on a 4.0 scale.
Research Degrees (MPhil/PhD)
Successful completion of a Master's degree in a relevant subject with strong research potential. A detailed research proposal and academic references are mandatory.
English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language, you must provide proof of proficiency. Required scores can vary by department
