Overview / About the Scholarship
The Full Payment Discount is one of the most straightforward financial benefits offered by the University of Hertfordshire. It is specifically aimed at self-funded international students, including those from Pakistan, who have the financial capacity to settle their tuition fees in a single transaction rather than through installments. For Pakistani students, this discount offers a dual advantage: it provides a direct saving of £1,000 and simplifies the administrative process of managing multiple international bank transfers throughout the academic year.
Unlike competitive or merit-based scholarships, this discount is guaranteed to any student who meets the payment deadline. It reflects the university's commitment to making education more affordable for those who demonstrate early financial commitment. Importantly, this discount can often be combined with other merit-based awards, such as the Chancellor’s International Scholarship, allowing high-achieving students to maximise their total savings. By settling fees in full, students also avoid potential complications arising from future currency exchange rate fluctuations between PKR and GBP.
Scholarship Value / Benefits
Guaranteed Reduction: A direct £1,000 deduction from the total tuition fee.
Stackable Incentives: In most cases, this can be added to other scholarships (such as the Chancellor's International Scholarship) for cumulative savings.
Peace of Mind: Eliminates the stress of tracking instalment deadlines and managing multiple cross-border transfers.
Simplified CAS Process: Paying in full early can streamline the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) process by showing a zero tuition balance.
