Global Leaders Scholarship

The Global Leaders Scholarship is the University of Lincoln's flagship award, specifically established to attract the world's most talented and ambitious students. For Pakistani applicants, this represents a unique opportunity to join a community of scholars who are not only academically gifted but also active leaders in their respective fields. The award aims to empower students who can demonstrate the highest levels of academic, personal, and extracurricular endeavor. Unlike automatic bursaries, this scholarship is highly selective.

It seeks individuals who have made a tangible impact in their communities in Pakistan, whether through volunteering, sports, student politics, or creative arts, and who intend to bring that same energy to the Lincoln campus. By covering half of the tuition fees, the University of Lincoln significantly reduces the financial barriers to obtaining a UK Master’s degree. This allows Pakistani students to focus more on their professional development and the rich cultural exchange that comes with studying in a historic English city. Recipients are often invited to act as International Student Ambassadors, representing the university and sharing their journey with prospective students back in Pakistan, further enhancing their leadership profile and global network.

To be eligible, a candidate must:

• Nationality of Pakistan.
• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught program.
• Have achieved a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade equivalent to a UK 2:1 or higher (typically a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 65% from a recognized Pakistani university).
• Self-funded student (students receiving full external sponsorship are not eligible).
• Demonstrate a strong track record of leadership or extracurricular involvement.

Level: Postgraduate Taught (Master's level - MA, MSc, MBA).

Fields of Study: Most disciplines are eligible, including Business, Engineering, Computer Science, and Social Sciences.

Exclusions: Research degrees (MPhil/PhD).
